In the Name of Allah the Compassionate, The Merciful
Just recently on the hit TV show, The Connors, the twelve-year-old son of Darlene, came out as being gay. The headlines read;

This type of an event would have never occurred in any previous period, but the whisperings of influence by the Shaitan have been loud and constant. They have become more and more perverse and provocative, gradually pushing people to accept immorality as being the norm. Those who are mindful of the negative impact that a situation such as this can have, are prone to speak out against these types of issues, but are then labeled as haters and radicals by others who have allowed their own desires, or naïve and gullible tendencies, to take over any sense of right and wrong within them.
If you stop to consider why anyone would feel the need to write a script about the sexual preference of a twelve year old on a primetime sitcom, and the impact that it has on other adolescents, you should be able to see this as a calculated attack against society. What purpose does it serve to reveal the sexual tendencies of a fictional character on primetime television, other than to plant seeds of persuasion into the world? Those seeds have grown into orchards of influence that have blocked out the light of truth and replaced it with the darkness of debauchery and indecency. We are being fed the fruits of freedom and becoming intoxicated by the venomous juices of influence that are destroying society from within. All in the name of freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. But those who choose to stand up for truth, are labeled as prejudiced, or religious fanatics.
Our Creator says in the Qur’an:
“Those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Follow our way (of religion) and we will bear the burden of your sins (for you). Never in the least will they bear their sins. Surely, they are liars. But they surely will bear their own sins and other sins (of influence) beside their own, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Judgment concerning their inventions. Surely, we sent Noah (as Our messenger) unto his people, and he continued with them for nine-hundred and fifty years; and the flood engulfed them, because they were wrong doers.”
Surah Al-Ankaboot 29:12-14
I have nothing against homosexuals. What people do in private is between them and our Creator. But I do have a problem with homosexuality being promoted and marketed to the masses. There are pedophiles out there that will be influenced by stories such as this, inciting them to commit acts of indecency with real children due to the story of this fictional character on primetime. Seeds of perversion have been planted causing people to fantasize about a 12yo child's sexual tendencies.
Let's be honest, the vast majority of homosexuals in the world have a history of having been molested themselves as children. Many repeat the acts on others. This is substantiated by studies that have been conducted.

Homosexuals commit more than 33% of all reported child molestations in the United States, which, assuming homosexuals make up 2% of the population, means that 1 in 20 homosexuals is a child molester, while 1 in 490 heterosexuals is a child molester (19).
33% of homosexuals ADMIT to minor/adult sex (7).
There is a notable homosexual group, consisting of thousands of members, known as the North American Man and Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). This is a child molesting homosexual group whose cry is "SEX BEFORE 8 BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE." This group can be seen marching in most major homosexual parades across the United States.
73% of all homosexuals have had sex with boys under 19 years of age (9).
Many homosexuals admit that they are pedophiles: "The love between men and boys is at the foundation of homosexuality"
As a Muslim it is my obligation to stand up against all forms of oppression. If I were to see homosexuals being targeted or victimized in the street, I would run to their aid. However, I also have an obligation to stand up against oppression directed against me, as well as the community or society in which I reside. I feel that a primetime sitcom discussing the sexual orientation of a 12yo is oppression against society, and especially children who will most assuredly be targets of someone else's perverted fantasies.
May our Allah (our Creator) save us from the whispering Shaitan. Ameen
