The absurdities are abounding. Notice the propaganda against Islam by insinuating that Trump is some kind of savior against Islam by saying, “Could it be, that President Trump right now has been sort of raised for such a time like this just like Queen Esther, to help save the Jewish people from an Iranian menace?” asked a CBN reporter.
"God told me this", "God told me that"
NO HE DIDN'T....... YOU TOLD YOURSELF "THIS AND THAT" USING YOUR IMAGINATION!!!!
Just this morning before Fajr prayer I was asked by a new Revert to Islam, "Do Muslims believe in divine revelation? Whereas God gives me personal revelation?"
My response was:
" No not in the way Christians will say, "God told me ...... ". Allah speaks to us through signs and through the Qur'an. The verses of the Qur'an are called Ayat which means "signs" in Arabic. In those verses Allah makes mention of various things in creation and also former people so that we learn from them. So in this way we are inspired through Allah's guidance. But no, Allah does not speak to us directly.
I have heard many many Christians over the years proclaim that "God told me.........." and I have always found it odd and peculiar to say the least. I am not suggesting that Allah can't speak to us as humans, but He does so in His wisdom. To suggest that our Creator speaks to us literally as humans speak to one another demonstrates signs of psychological illness such as those who hear voices. No, you hear your own thoughts and those thoughts are based on your own personal desires. This is similar to Christians who believe they can, "Speak something into existence" as if they have the power to create and that our Creator is endorsing their wants in some way.
There is so much that I could say about this but I have a lot to do today. Perhaps I will address this topic at a later date or continue to address it in this Blog Insha Allah.
Meanwhile, Islam continues to grow and expand by the will of our Creator.
Surah al-Anfal 8:30
And (remember) when the disbelievers plotted against you (O Muhammad SAW) to imprison you, or to kill you, or to get you out (from your home, i.e. Makkah); they were plotting and Allah too was planning, and Allah is the Best of the planners.
